With very few openings and a strong track record of client success, this is your chance to work directly with the Managing Director, gain hands-on experience, and grow your career in a truly modern, cloud-led firm.

Job Description

Up to £38,000

You’ll work directly with the Managing Director, taking ownership of key tasks and client relationships. This role covers everything from preparing accounts and tax returns to supporting with advisory work like cash flow forecasting and budgeting. It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants real responsibility, modern systems, and a chance to help build something from the ground up. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare year-end accounts (FRS102 1A & FRS105), management accounts, and VAT returns
• Assist with corporation tax and self-assessment returns
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and post necessary adjustments
• Handle bookkeeping, CIS, payroll, and pension tasks where needed
• Work with cloud platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, Dext) and guide clients on digital record-keeping
• Support advisory services including cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Build strong client relationships and act as their go-to contact
• Stay current with UK accounting and tax regulations

Successful Applicant

Up to £38,000

• Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/AAT)
• 2–3 years’ accounting practice experience
• Strong grasp of UK accounting standards and tax compliance
• Confident using cloud software (i.e. Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext) is a plus
• Comfortable preparing accounts for SMEs, freelancers and limited companies
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communicator with a proactive, tech-first mindset
• Comfortable working independently without close supervision
