Our client is seeking a motivated part qualified / qualified accountant, or someone qualified by experience to join a medium sized accountancy practice in Swanley Village.

This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career while supporting a diverse range of clients, primarily owner-managed businesses, including limited companies.

You will join an established team, ranging in experience that provides a friendly and supportive working environment. They have a very high staff retention rate, and they can offer progression if desired. You must be keen to have good interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating at all levels and working within a team.

You will be exposed to a varied portfolio of clients and support them with statutory accounts, VAT returns and basis tax issues.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Statements, prepare statutory financial statements under FRS105 and FRS102 using software. Tax Calc being able to prepare group accounts.

• Tax Computations, draft corporation tax computations in Tax Cal.

• Management Accounts, create periodic management accounts using Xero, Sage or similar software.

• Client Interaction, build client rapport, understanding their specific needs and ensure clear, professional communication.

• Additional Services, identify areas for other services that my benefit clients.

• AAT, ACCA or studier, or qualified by experience, with a background in accountancy practice.

• Accounts production experience is key

• Experience using cloud-based accounting software like Iris, Xero, Quickbooks, Excel, Word

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines

• Competent in preparing financial statements and corporation tax returns.

• Ability to develop strong client and internal relationship and offer value-added services

• Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
