Job Description
Up to £55,000
As an Audit Senior, you'll play a key role within one of the firm’s specialist pods; a close-knit team managing a mixed client base including financial services, retail, and service-led businesses. You’ll lead audit assignments from planning to completion, contribute to a strong team culture, and help coach and mentor junior colleagues as they grow their careers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working closely with clients, and wants to make an impact in a firm that values personal and professional integrity. Responsibilities include:
* Deliver high-quality external audits across a range of industries and engagement types
* Manage the full audit process from planning through to reporting
* Identify and evaluate risk areas, and implement effective audit strategies
* Mentor and train junior team members, supporting their development
* Liaise closely with audit managers, escalating issues and resolving complex matters
* Monitor engagement budgets and ensure efficient time recording
* Build strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable service
* Stay current with auditing standards and continuously improve your expertise
* Contribute to internal improvements in audit methodology and quality control

* ACA/ACCA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years of relevant UK audit experience in a reputable practice
* Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and current auditing standards
* Proven ability to lead audits and manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Proficient in Caseware and other audit tools
* Committed to quality, integrity, and continuous learning
* Awareness of GDPR and dedication to maintaining high data protection standards
